जाडो याममा सुकेका हाँगाहरु र किरा लागेका हाँगाहरु लाई काँटछाँट गरि जलाईदिने |
किरा लागेको हाँगामा दुलो पत्ता लगाई Dichlorvos (Nuvan 76 EC) १० मि.लि. प्रति लिटर पानीमा वा मट्टीतेलमा कपास चोपेर प्वाल टालिदिने |
०.२ ग्राम Aluminium Phosphate टब्लेट प्वालमा राखी माटोले प्वाल टालिदिने |

सुख्खा बलौटे माटोमा स्याउ बगैंचा नलगाउनुहोस्।
ताजा गोबरलाई मलको रूपमा प्रयोग नगर्नुहोस्।
राम्रोसँग विघटित FYM मात्र प्रयोग गर्नुहोस्। रूखहरू मुनि माटोमा interculturing गर्दा उक्त किराको लार्भा मार्न मद्दत गर्दछ।
स्याउ रोप्नु अघि माटोमा ३३ के.जी कार्टप हाइड्रोक्लोराइड ३% जी.आर प्रति हेक्टरमा हाल्नुहोस्।

San Jose Scale (Quadraspidiotus perniciosus)

Field sanitation.
Infested pruned material should be collected and burnt.
Use of parasitoid Encarsia perniciosi.
Spray mineral oil servo @ 10-15 ml/liter as a foliar spray in apple trees in April-May. Repeat the spray after 7 days, 3 times.
Dip the roots of the infested saplings in 0.1% solution of Fenitrothion or Dichlorovos.
Spray Roger (Dimethoate 30% EC) at 2 ml/liter of water (2500 ml in 1250 liters of water per hectare).
Incorporate Disiston 5% G (disulfoton) or Cartap Hydrochloride 3 G @ 40-50 gram/plant digging a trench around the root zone. Cover the trench with soil and irrigate immediately.

Tent Caterpillar (Malocosoma indicum)

Mopping up the tents with a pole and some rags dipped in kerosene (best at 12 noon to 3 pm on clear sunny days.)
Destroy all egg bands at December-January pruning.
Spray 2.5 kg of Thiodicarb 75WP in 1250 liters of water per hector.

Peach Leaf Curl Aphid (Brachycaudus helichrysi)

Removal of alternative hosts.
Spray 2 liters of Dimethoate 30 EC in 1250 liters of water per hector (one pre bloom and a post bloom spray at 10 days intervals.)
